Negar Rezaie has a Master in wood biology and anatomy, and a Ph.D. in. Sciences and technologies for the forest and environmental management. Currently, she is a post-doc at the National Research Council of Italy, Institute on Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET). Her research focus on the effect of extreme weather events and other environmental factors on trees and forest ecosystems by using stable isotope, wood anatomy and dendrochronology. At the moment, she is working on the effects of short-term extreme events (Late frost and drought) on tree functioning and physiology.
