Negar Rezaie has a Master in wood biology and anatomy, and a Ph.D. in. Sciences and technologies for the forest and environmental management. Currently, she is researcher at the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics, Research Centre for Engineering and Agro-Food Processing. Her research focus on the effect of extreme weather events and other environmental factors on trees and forest ecosystems by using stable isotope, wood anatomy and dendrochronology. At the moment, she is working on the effects of short-term extreme events (Late frost and drought) on tree functioning and physiology.
